Treviglio, a relaxed stopover

We were looking for a quiet and safe place to spend the night on the outskirts of Milan and the choice was random, but lucky The parking area is peaceful, free of charge and friendly and the city is well worth a stroll through the streets of downtown.

Modena’s international reputation is undeniable; both the Ferrari myth and the  balsamic vinegar made her famous in every corner of the world.  I know that it may sound odd but these are defenitly not the main reason for visiting the city or at least, they seemed secondary to us, compared to everything else that Modena has to offer

Three villages south of Modena

Continuing our journey towards north Italy, we stopped at three villages for a quick visit, just a few kilometers away from Modena: Vignola, Castelvetro and Spilamberto. All three were very nice, although each of them gave us very different impressions. Apparently every place generates different vibrations influencing thus our judgment beyond its proper aesthetic beauty. Or, perhaps, it is just the fact that we are becoming really peculiar :)
