Most foreign tourists visit Moni Arkadiou motivated by the beauty of the scenery highlighted in travel guides and postcards. Meteora, minor monasteries
Minor so to speak, lets say that these are the ones that are probably best seen from the outside than inside, according to my humble opinion. In this post I present the other four inhabited monasteries, Agios Nikolaos Anapafsas, Roussanou, Agiou Stefanou and Agia Triada which became famous for having been the stage for shooting the James Bond movie, “For Your Eyes Only.”
