Still under the influence of our French trip and at our first experience in Spain with the van, we still try to figure out how to move around and mostly where to stop without problems. We visit Figueres, Dalì’s hometown, where we go to see his theater-museum… incredible!
Cadaques, at Salvator Dalì’s
Our first stop in Spain: Cadaques. We expected a wonder and we were a little disappointed. So after a very short walk around, we move to the nearby Port Lligat to visit the house of Salvador Dali. And here things start to get right! A marvel, an immersion in the creative madness of a great artist, view from behind the scenes. An experience not to be missed.
Spain, here we come…
We start from Arles with very strong wind that seemed to come from all directions. It was our acquaintance with the Mistral and we did not find it funny. We decides it was time for us to move ahead and get to Spain. We moved quickly, so to speak, towards the borders, making only a couple of stops along the way. Two days later we are in Cadaques.
