Agios Pavlos is known not only for its impressive sand dunes, but also for the yoga seminars that for years are organized here every summer. Agia Galini on the other hand, is not far away and is a much more developed tourist center, with a decent beach, but without much chance of staying overnight, apart from his campsite.

Triopetra beach is one of the few beaches in Crete that in addition to being beautiful is also within easy reach! To top it all, you can stay overnight with the backing of one of the taverns there. Do not miss it!
Crete: Preveli’s Monasteries
The two monasteries of Preveli, the recently restored one, Kato Preveli dedicated to St. John the Baptist and Piso Preveli, dedicated to John the apostle, are in my opinion worth seeing, even if only for their architecture and the interesting museum of the second.
