Triopetra beach is one of the few beaches in Crete that in addition to being beautiful is also within easy reach! To top it all, you can stay overnight with the backing of one of the taverns there. Do not miss it!

The beach of Triopetra [35.11945,24.54660] is located just a few kilometers from Preveli’s, even if for getting there by car you have to drive around a bit. passing through Spili, a cute little town where you can take the chance and buy some supplies and fill up wiyh gasoline at a good price.
When you arrive to the beach if you turn left, you will find the Apothiki tavern immediately. They are very welcoming towards motorhomers, offering its customers showers, water, wi-fi, possibility to empty the WC cassette and for smaller vehicles they also allows to park in the shade, inside their garden.
The beach in front is equipped with parasols and has the most beautiful view on the three stones that give the name to the beach.
We stayed in front of the tavern, but for those who prefer to be more isolated, if you turn right when arriving to the beach, after passing another tavern, you will find an open space with a couple of trees that will also provide you with a bit of shadow [35.12288,24.54485].
Continuing on the same dirt road, you will arrive after a few hundreds of meters [35.12995,24.53556] to another huge and not crowded beach, but where it is not easy to find a good place to park.
On the other side, beyond the three stones, there is another beautiful beach, Mikri Triopetra, much more organized and worldly. You can find a place to park in a small clearing just above the beach [35.11683,24.55163].
