Built to facilitate the crossing of the narrow stretch of sea between Patras and Pelopponeso from mainland Greece it has the great fault of being too expensive. A normal motorhome pays a toll of 20 € *, a vehicle with three axes 32 € … it’s just too much…

We usually prefer to take the ferry. It departs more or less every 20 minutes from 7.00 to 23.00 and every 45 minutes during the night. Small motorhomes, under 5,50m pay as cars, only € 6.50. Beside the savings, the trip is fast and is also a good opportunity to rest a moment enjoying the view from below of the bridge, which is really impressive. The docks are fairly well marked. The exits are just close to the entrance of the bridge from both sides, you pay directly to the ferry. Two-axle motorhomes longer than 5,50m pay € 11 and three-axis € 16.

As I have been informed and since i could not find it officially mentioned anywhere I verified by phone, two-axle motorhomes of any size now pay the same toll rate as cars to cross the bridge, which amount to €13,20
