Colmar: two museums not to be missed
A separate post for two museums not to be missed in Colmar. The first is the Musée d’Unterlinden, housed in a Dominican convent, included the list of the most important museums of France. The second is a small museum dedicated to the sculptor Frédéric-Auguste Bartholdi, designer of the Statue of Liberty and Lion of Belfort, hosted in his native home.
Thessaloniki: free stopovers and a camper stop
I love Thessaloniki, really, but driving around and parking is a nightmare! The only way to avoid it is to arrive in the evening, after the shops close and park in strategic locations close to the center. Alternatively, you can stop in Kalamaria, on the sea and move around by public transport or use the free RV area, 18km in the direction of Chalkidiki.
