Not widely known archaeological site, but particularly dear to the Thessalonians, the Roman Agora with its subterranean museum and its amphitheater is one of the places worth visiting if you stop in Thessaloniki for a few days.

Alsace: the wine road
From Colmar I decide to go on a tour of the villages that surround it, following the so-called wine route, though haunted by the bad weather. These villages, scattered among the vineyards a few kilometers of each other, are one nicer than the other and much better equipped to receive motorhomers compared to the capital.
Thessaloniki: Byzantium between the concrete
The signs of the past are everywhere in Thessaloniki, churches and buildings from the Byzantine period are mixed with modern buildings, creating an interesting contrast. A walk of a couple of hours around the lower city is enough to discover dozens of churches and archaeological sites.
