I have just returned from Thessaloniki, where for ten days I have been following the international documentary festival. An event that for years I do not miss and an opportunity to enjoy the city in spring version combined with an excellent selection of films and other events. This year I also managed to break my previous record and seeing 36 films, one better than the other!

Colmar: you’ll never get enough of Alsace
The old town of Colmar is a real gem. Alsatian architecture, a network of waterways that make it even more characteristic, an impressive Gothic church and wine and food at will. In addition Colmar prides itself on being the birthplace of Frédéric Auguste Bartholdi, the designer of the Statue of Liberty and the sculptor of the lion of Belfort.
Athens: Museum of Islamic Art
The Benaki Museum of Islamic Art is one of the smaller and lesser-known museums of Athens. Located close to Thission, metro station is of particular interest to better understand the close link between Greece and Asia Minor. In summer the coffee shop on the terrace is a nice place to rest for a moment enjoying the view of the Acropolis and Ceramic archaeological site.
