I’m not referring to the city of course but to the ferry trip from Greece. For about a year now, the ferry doesn’t dock in Tronchetto but in Fucina. What a pity! Anyway, we’ve got fresh information about the parking possibilities around the “new” Venice port, and a nice spot next to Patras, very convenient for late night arrival.

Crete: Chania
We finally arrived at our last stop before embarking on our journey back to mainland Greece. After so many weeks wandering among the beauty and the wilderness of the Cretan landscape, fascinated by the island’s rich and diverse heritage, spending the last couple days in Chania was like the icing on the cake! It is not by chance that this town is considered one of the most picturesque in all Greece!
Crete: around Istro
Driven away from Pachia Ammos because of the wind, we continued our journey towards Agios Nikolaos having high hope but low expectations. For those not familiar with the situation, the wind in Crete could easily turn into nightmare. And then the beaches of Istros appeared in front of our eyes… Ok, it’s true that the wind didn’t subside and it took a little courage but in the end we even managed to enjoy a swim!
