Out of the beaten tracks, but a short distance from the road connecting Corinth to the south of the Peloponnese, Nemea is one of the capitals of wine production in Greece. Some manufacturers offer in their facilities the chance to taste and of course to buy their wines at very attractive prices. There is an icing on the cake too: the archaeological site with a temple in excellent condition.

Geraki Castle
The castle of Geraki, less than 40 kilometers from Sparta, is an archaeological site rarely visited and certainly not one of the most important. Not surprisingly, however, it is called the small Mystras. In addition to the fortified city, there are indeed a number of churches with restored frescoes of the fourteenth and fifteenth centuries which are worth a visit if you are already nearby.
Mani Peninsula: Tenaro
In this second post we discover a little corner of marvelous sea at Porto Kayio, with a free parking lot offered by a tavern in exchange for a consumption and then we get to the southern point of the Peloponnese, taking a pleasant hike to get to the lighthouse.
