Another special place where I happened to stop during one of my trips around Eastern Europe is Tokaj, Hungarian capital of wine, so precious and important to be mentioned in their national anthem as one of the greatest gifts they have received. The town is a gem and a visit is an opportunity to learn about the history and taste of one of the most famous wines in the world.

Do you know Andrew Warhola?
I start a small series of posts about interesting places that I happened to visit during my RV travels as a photojournalist in the past. Pavia, university city
City of a hundred towers, the capital of the kingdom of Italy, home to one of the oldest Italian universities to which are related prestigious names such as Alessandro Volta, Carlo Rubbia, Ugo Foscolo, Carlo Goldoni. For centuries the center of historical events, Pavia is now a relatively quiet, young and little visited city, despite being located only 30 kilometers from Milan.
