Ancient Messene (part II)

scavi 01On the side of the museum, starts the road to the entrance of the archaeological site, or maybe i should call them archaeological excavations.
When we got at the site, we saw more archaeologists than visitors and things did not change much even after a couple of hours when we finished our tour.

Corinth: Have a walk inside the canal (video)

corinto Few know that it is possible to have a nice walk inside the canal of Corinth. Actually it is possible to get very close to the water level. And the views from there when a ship is crossing are simply amazing!

Methana and the Volcano

Arriving in Mèthana seems like arriving in the Caribbean, then the smell of sulfur get into your nose and heaven becomes hell! Fortunately, a few hundred meters after the marina, the air return breathable and you find yourself in a spa town with an atmosphere of other times that gives it a strange glamour. And then there’s the volcano!
