… was cloudy!! We stayed in Berlin for eight days, with temperatures ranging from -12ºC to -5ºC and only four-five hours of sunshine overall. On the other hand we have never seen so much snow and so much ice… It’s not the best conditions to explore a city, but all in all it was worth the adventure.
On the way to Berlin
We leave the Lake of Como heading for Berlin, where we plan to arrive the first week of January; on our way up north we are going to visit some friends in Lugano and Bregenz. Afterwards we continue our drive defying the weather, knowing that most likely it won’t be favorable. What is life without a little adventure? ;)
Lake Como in winter
On our way up north, although the weather was not the best, we decided to make a short stop at the famous Lake Como. We stayed just a couple of nights, enough to get a little taste of the beauty of this corner of Italy, before moving to Switzerland. Despite being the middle of winter, it was not easy at all to find a place where to stay overnight for free! I don’t even want to think about what a nightmare would be in the high season …
