Heididorf, let’s go to Heidi’s

europe_switzerlandWe set ourselves on the road again headed to Austria, but we can not resist the temptation to take a short detour to visit the land of Heidi, the famous heroine of cartoons. Even if it is a classic ‘tourist trap’, (mainly Japanese, but also many Arabs), for fans of the genre and for those who have small children, it would be a shame not to stop for a quick visit.

Chur, capital of Graubünden

Switzerland, Chur
europe_switzerlandCoire or better Chur, despite being the capital of one of the Swiss cantons, is not well known. The small fame that may have is due more to its proximity to the ski slopes and to be on the road to Davos. In fact, as the city it has not much to offer the visitor, but it’s still a nice stop for an overnight stay and a walk along the narrow streets of the old town.
