Nafplion and surroundings

nafplionNafplion is a beautiful city, the capital of Argolis and was also the first capital of Greece, It is definitely worth a stop for a walk in a ‘different’ atmosphere, although for the night is probably best to move to the close by beach of Karathona. Tolo? No Thanks!

Epidaurus: Theater and Sea

The archaeological site of Epidaurus is a must. The theater and the remains of the Sanctuary of Asklepios are at least impressive. The maximum being to be able to attend to a performance of a Greek tragedy in the theater, which is possible and not too expensive during the summer festival.

Methana and the Volcano

Arriving in Mèthana seems like arriving in the Caribbean, then the smell of sulfur get into your nose and heaven becomes hell! Fortunately, a few hundred meters after the marina, the air return breathable and you find yourself in a spa town with an atmosphere of other times that gives it a strange glamour. And then there’s the volcano!
