The monastery of Agios Prodromos is a place you’ll never visit by chance!
To get there you have to walk for about an hour starting from Stemnitsa, descending into the gorge of the river Lousios, or, as we did, drive 8km on an atrocious road to get to a parking lot just half a kilometer from the monastery and from there continue on foot .

Along the lake of Constance (part I)
We leave Bregenz behind and before realizing it we passed the former border and we find ourselves in Germany, where we will follow the lake up to Konstanz, making a few stops. In this post, the island of Lindau, Friedrichshafen (the town of Zeppelin) and Meersburg (city of wines).
Dimistana and the Water Museum
Dimitsana is a hospitable mountain village of Arcadia, located at approximately1000 meters elevation. Besides being a great base to visit the gorge of the river Lusios and its monasteries, it also has a nice outdoor museum dedicated to the water.
