Agios Pavlos is known not only for its impressive sand dunes, but also for the yoga seminars that for years are organized here every summer. Agia Galini on the other hand, is not far away and is a much more developed tourist center, with a decent beach, but without much chance of staying overnight, apart from his campsite.

Agios Pavlos is easily reached by continuing along the coast from Triopetra. Before descending to the village, take the dirt road on your right to the parking lot of the beaches [35.10408,24.56162]. Do not get to the village because it may be difficult to get out of there, because of the limited space for maneuvering. About the beach there is not much to say, it is simply a must see!
The car park of Agios Pavlos is also suitable for an overnight stop, but it is very exposed to the wind, which in these whereabouts is no joke. Seeing that the situation was getting worse, we preferred to go on to Agia Galini, hoping it would be a bit more protected. We made the mistake of taking the road along the sea, which seemed shorter. It begins paved but turns into a dirt road very soon and gets worse and worse. Avoid!
Agia Galini, although very touristy, it’s a nice town, but not suitable for large vehicles. It is better to leave the motorhome in the parking lot along the river [35.10011,24.69245], where we also stayed overnight, or even in the camping and go to visit it on foot by taking a stroll along the sea, starting from the iron bridge over the river.
